  • What you need to know

  • What steps have you already done with medicare

Getting the right start at the beginning and taking one step at a time makes the whole process easier. Only by getting to know exactly what your needs are can the correct path to your coverage be found.

Original Medicare

Part A is also referred to as Hospital Insurance. Part B coverage is also known as Medical Insurance. Go over:

  • Different hospital coverage

  • Difference between Original Medicare, Part A & Part B

Using your current needs to gauge your future needs is crucial while discussing Medicare. We will cover your options and what they could mean for your future.

Part D

Part D is prescription drug coverage and is not included in Original Medicare. We will discuss:

  • What exactly it covers

  • Your prescriptions (now and if the future)

  • How to obtain this coverage if needed

All plans do not cover the same medications or may cover at a different level. So it’s very important to check against the plan before selecting.

Part C & Supplemental

Part C also known as Medicare Advantage

plans. In short they cover everything Original Medicare covers with additional benefits and normally offer Part D coverage.

  • Discuss travel coverage and where you plan on living

  • discuss possible additional coverage needs like dental, vision, etc.

  • Go over premiums, OOP, deductibles, etc.
